The top-price foal of the sixth online foal auction, organised by the Paul Schockemöhle stud, was For the Best.
The exceptional colt by Fürst Toto (Fürstenball x Totilas) was sold for 37,000 euros to Australia.
For the Best comes from Fürst Toto’s first crop of foals and goes back to the famous Oldenburg line of Kastete on the dam side.
The second most expensive foal was the black stallion prospect Dantino, sold to Germany for 19,000 euros.
His sire is the young stallion Dante’s Junior (by Dante Weltino).
His dam has already produced two licensed stallions, Blue Hors Farrell and Figaro von Nymphenburg.
In third place, a customer invested 18,000 euros in Fürsten Love, a black colt by Fürstenball x Sir Donnerhall.
The most expensive show-jumping foal was Presley Blue. Buyers from Spain bought the promising daughter
of the World Championship show-jumper Presley Boy (dam by Chacco-Blue-Conthargos) for 16,500 euros.
Chacco's London (by Chacoon Blue), a colt from the same line as P.S. Priamos/Ludger Beerbaum
(team World Champion and World Cup bronze medallist), was auctioned off for 14.500 euros.
In total, the ten dressage and six show-jumping bred young talents, all by stallions of Paul Schockemöhle and Andreas Helgstrand’s studs,
achieved a turnover of 210,000 euros and an average price of 13,125 euros.
Six of the foals were sold abroad, including two to Australia and two to Spain.
